Thy Kingdom Come 2020 - Get Involved

thy kingdom come 2020

We will be aligning ourselves with the national initiative to pray 'Thy Kingdom Come' through this coming week Sunday 24th - Sunday 31st. Full details of this event can be found at

Through the church you may choose to

  1. Join with two scheduled prayer meetings via Zoom. Mike Forrest will be hosting one on Monday at 7.30pm. Clive and Fiona will be hosting one on Thursday at  8pm. Both for 40 minutes. Please contact them direct for the meeting ID and password if you would like to join in that prayer group.
  2. Participate with the prayer group that operates every Tuesday morning - details are included here.

Personally you may choose to

  1. Pray in your own home.
  2. 'phone a friend' and pray together over the phone or use Facebook Messenger
  3. Meet in an open space (with one other person) and pray together or engage on a prayer walk (observing social distancing).
  4. Arrange your own prayer meeting group via Zoom - invite people yourself.

The intention is pray 'Your Kingdom Come' using the model of prayer Jesus gave to His disciples as recorded in Matthew chapter 6.

If you have been following our series on the Kingdom of God you will remember the scope and character of His Kingdom - covering nations, creation, governments and marked by justice, peace, celebration, humility authority etc. Lots to pray for!

The series of sermons are still available on our website.

Also it is suggested that we each pray specifically for five people.
